How’s It Going?

A close-up of a hand planting seeds in a row as an analogy of how we, as Christians plant seeds when we share the gospel.

If you’ve done the tasks this week, how’s that going? Have you gotten any reactions/feedback? I’m sure the lives you touched were made better by your outpouring of love and that you’ve planted seeds this week. Pray that those seeds will be watered. I prayed throughout the day yesterday about the texts I sent out and just really felt the presence of God. He is so good and wants to be a part of our everyday lives. All we have to do is let Him in.

I want to update you on the missionaries kidnapped in Haiti so that we don’t forget they still need our continued prayers. This is the 20th day of captivity and other than that, I can’t find any updates as to what the government is doing about it. I did read that they (the gang) released one pastor who was kidnapped a month ago, but also, they killed one man whose family was unable to pay the ransom. Please continue to pray for these missionaries and others. Pray for their families and friends. Pray for the Haitians who have to live in constant fear because of these gangs.

Continue to ask God how you can be a doer of the word on a daily basis.

But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.”
1 Corinthians 1:30-31 NKJV

Please join me this week in praying for God to show you what you can do to become a “doer of the Word.” Pray that He shows you who to contact this week and that He gives you the words to say and share. Pray that God works through you and me to shine His light to everyone we come in contact with, whether it be people online, family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, etc.
