The Five Crowns

A photo of a gold crown with red jewels. The words to James 1:12 ESV speaks to one of the five crowns we can earn in Heaven. "Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him."
by Beeda Speis for Peace in the Stillness

There are five possible crowns for us to receive when we enter the Kingdome of Heaven.

Those we are praying for this week are earning their Crowns of Life. Maybe knowing that will make their journey a little easier. A famous evangelist once said, “I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to meet Jesus empty-handed.“**

Bible Verse of the Day

Prayer

Father, we praise Your holy name! We are so very thankful for Your love and for Your plan for our lives. We thank You for bestowing Your blessings on each of us. Lord, may we always remember that You are sovereign over all things and You will direct our steps to accomplish Your purposes. Lord, we trust in You. Our hope is in You. Use us to show the world Your loving kindness.
Father, we pray for all of those with chronic illnesses. May they be healed. May they have rest from their pain, from their symptoms. Lord, please give them encouragement and inspiration to live a life that is glorifying to You. May they happily earn their crowns in honor of You. Jesus suffered so much for all of us. We will suffer for Him.
Lord, we continue to pray for the people of Ukraine. Please save them, Lord. Please bring peace to their land. Please stop the enemy. In Jesus’ holy name, Amen.

**Paraphrased. I heard this in an online sermon, so it was either David Jeremiah or John MacArthur.
