ABOUT US
There really isn’t an “us” per se, but putting “About Me” just doesn’t seem right for a ministry. Someday I hope there will be an “us,” a team of people helping others draw closer to God.
My vision: As I wrote on the home page, all of my God experiences have come at times when I’ve been completely focused on Him. It took several experiences before I realized the connection. The problem is having that kind of focus when the world is so crazy and upside down. There are so many distractions and so much stress. God is here for us, but we have to put forth the effort to spend quality time with Him.
I’ll be sharing my God experiences in an e-book which I’ll make available for free to my email subscribers. It may be a year from now though because of how many things God has placed on my heart. In the meantime, I’ll begin with monthly giveaways to subscribers.
Upcoming for Peace In The Stillness Ministries:
- a monthly newsletter and giveaway
- Facebook and Instagram Live introductions and updates
- Videos to inspire and instruct
The newsletter will be first, so follow me on social media and/or my blog so you’ll be in the loop.
Three Pillars of Service
Writing/Blogging
God has blessed me with the ability and desire to share my life experiences with others through the written word. It’s my prayer to serve and inspire others in this way. Visit my blog.
Speaking
I’m envisioning all sorts of possibilities to share and serve through speaking to small groups, or one-on-one, in addition to making videos to share about God and my testimonies.
Teaching
Exhortation is my Spiritual Gift and so I would like to put it to good use. God hasn’t made that part clear yet, though, so it will be on the back-burner for a while.
A little bit about me:
My name is Beeda L. Speis, and I like sloths. I think it’s awesome that in this day and age there’s some living being who cannot and will not be rushed. Maybe I’m just envious–not that I would want to be a sloth, dealing with those nails would be a nightmare, but I do think sometimes how wonderful it would be to just take it slow.
