Today, let’s pour out our hearts for those people who are so discontent with their lives, with the world, that they contemplate suicide. It’s like they’ve fallen into an empty well. There are no apparent means of escape, so they just sit in the mud and muck and sink deeper and deeper into their hole.
Unfortunately, their loved ones don’t know what to do for them. We don’t believe the person would actually kill themself. Or, we believe there’s nothing we can do if they won’t seek help.

Prayer
Father in Heaven, please hear our urgent prayers for those contemplating suicide. To them, this world offers no hope, no joy. They are desperate for a means of escape. Father, please fill their loved ones with guidance from the Holy Spirit that they may show the light which is Jesus Christ is right here with them; that there is hope and joy available to those who seek Him. Please lighten their burdens, Lord. Show them there’s a better way. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
