My heart is for the unengaged/unreached people groups around the world and for missionaries. That’s why I chose to become a “Prayer Champion,” a liaison between IMB (International Mission Board) and our local church in 2020.

As a Prayer Champion, I’m committed to praying for missionaries and for the unreached. One way of knowing what to pray is to follow along on IMB’s website. There you’ll find all of the different ways you can pray. Along the top of the webpage are Daily Prayer, Monthly Prayer, All Requests, Adopt a UUPG (Unengaged/Unreached People Group) and for now, there’s a heading for Week of Prayer. Beginning today and continuing through next Sunday is a “Week of Prayer for International Missions” (November 28 – December 5, 2021) and I would love it if you would pray with me each day.

From IMB’s website:
“TOGETHER
We Pray for Missionaries
Around the World
Every day, 155,473 people enter eternity without the hope of Jesus. Please join us as we observe the Week of Prayer for International Missions, where Southern
Baptists pray for IMB missionaries, their ministries and the unreached people and places they serve.”

Together we can increase the number of people who’ll spend eternity with our Lord and Saviour. Join me each day in praying for the lost. I’ll post the prayer requests from the field, and link to the Week of Prayer page of their website so you can read the stories they’ve posted.

Today’s prayer requests are:

  • Pray for inroads for Indigenous believers who are reaching the lost.
  • Pray churches who participated in Americas Connect will continue to pursue opportunities to serve.
  • Pray the Lord will facilitate more church connections.
