Today let’s all commit to doing a random act of kindness. It can be as simple as a text or phone call or as difficult as doing something outside our comfort zone. Whatever God calls you to do today, be a doer, not a hearer only (James 1:22).
“For a good tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

Please join me this week in praying for God to show you what you can do to become a “doer of the Word.” Pray that He shows you who to contact this week and that He gives you the words to say and share. Pray that God works through you and me to shine His light to everyone we come in contact with, whether it be people online, family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, etc.
