God gives, Satan takes

As much as God gives to His children, Satan always seems to be lurking in the background to take from us. Satan is the great deceiver. He manipulates us, goes after the things we hold dear. He mostly gets to us by interfering in our relationships. He distracts us from our God-given missions and fills our hearts with darkness. He makes us feel like things are hopeless.
Before we let things get too far, we need to recognize what he’s doing and why. We need to don the full armor of God and fight back. Tell him, out loud, “Go away, Satan!” Then fall to your knees and pray that the Lord protect you and keep you and that your Father keeps the devil at bay.

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
John 10:10 ESV

Please join me this week in praising God for His provisions. Pray that we may be image-bearers for Christ and that others will see our thankfulness for what God provides. Pray that God uses us to soften the hearts of the unbelievers we meet, that we can be a light, shining the way to knowing Him and resting in His grace and mercy.
