Waiting on the Lord

An eagle flying over a body of water, into the sunset. The whole picture is tinted in red, orange, and yellow. The words to Isaiah 40:31 ESV are included which say, "but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
    they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
    they shall walk and not faint."
by Beeda Speis for Peace in the Stillness

Again, words aren’t coming to me. A clear theme hasn’t presented itself either. I’m learning not to stress about it though because God is sovereign. If He has something He wants me to talk about, He’ll let me know. If He doesn’t, then I’ll just ramble about that. And maybe that is the topic: waiting on the Lord.

Bible Verse of the Day

but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31 ESV

After finding the above verses, I realized, maybe words aren’t coming so I’ll keep this short, either for you or for me, to renew our strength.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for Your sovereignty. Thank You for Your perfect timing. May we be patient to wait on You for all matters and not succumb to quick fixes due to impatience. Lord, please help those reading this to renew their strength. We are exhausted, fatigued, and weary. Some suffer these things due to illness. Some suffer due to a packed daily schedule. Please help us and our neighbors in this area of our lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
